South Africa has announced its 15-member squad for the upcoming white-ball tour of Pakistan, starting September 1.
After leading the side to the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 Final, interim captain Sune Luus steps down from her role.
The Proteas are yet to name a new captain for the tour, which includes three T20Is and three ODIs, part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2022-25 cycle.
Maintaining continuity, 12 out of 15 players from the memorable T20 World Cup campaign have been retained in the squad. The matches are set to take place in Karachi, with the T20Is scheduled from September 1 to 5, followed by the ODIs from September 8 to 14.
The squad for the tour comprises: Anneke Bosch, Tazmin Brits, Nadine de Klerk, Mieke de Ridder, Lara Goodall, Sinalo Jafta, Marizanne Kapp, Ayabonga Khaka, Masabata Klaas, Suné Luus, Nonkululeko Mlaba, Tumi Sekhukhune, Nondumiso Shangase, Delmi Tucker, and Laura Wolvaardt.
